Its small flowers growing around the Mediterranean, were known in the United States and England in the nineteenth century as “everlasting” flowers. The dried flower is used for liver disease and gallbladder disease and is very well known in the Mediterranean region for its detox properities. It is also used to treat indigestion, disorders affecting bile flow in the liver, and other conditions.
Immortelle Tea
It is typically prepared by brewing the tea in hot water (not above 180 degrees), cover and let it steep for 5 minutes.
For liver and gallbladder detoxification, it should be taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, or before bedtime, at least 2 hours after eating food.
