WARRIOR'S PRIMER

We are excited to introduce you to a very special instructor, Uncle Stumps, who will be flying in from Mississippi to pass along his wisdom to our kids. Stumps is a master teacher in this space of archery and warrier mindset.

This is a TWO DAY workshop for kids ages 8-12. April 22, 12-4pm and April 23, 12-4pm. 

This segment of the warrior's primer will use instinctive archery training as a vehicle to impart

skills and attributes that will be useful to participants in archery as well as in their everyday

lives.

The elements required to make a successful shot are also elements to success in life.

● Aligning with your target/goal

● Kinesthetic awareness

● Controlling your breathing

● Intense focus

● Positive self talk

● Follow through

● Self reflection and analysis

● Long term consistency over short term intensity

The sessions will not only include the fundamentals of traditional instinctive archery but also include brief meditation sessions to clear the mind. Together we will explore and discuss the fundamental points of performance in archery that can be applied to our everyday lives.

Archery is believed to be at least 50,000 years old, so instinctive archery also connects us to our ancestors. Participants will come to understand that in archery (as in life) it is not about correcting/controlling others, it is about correcting/controlling ourselves.
