About the event
The Threshold of Life is a heartfelt pre-birth ceremony created to honor the sacred transition into parenthood for Koehl and Jon as they prepare to welcome their baby, Isadore (Izzy) James Mirkin.
This ceremony is a space of love, blessing, and remembrance — where mom and dad are invited to release fears, call in ancestral guidance, and speak vows of devotion to one another and to Izzy. Through ritual, reflection, and symbolic acts, we will create a container of strength, joy, and intention so Izzy is welcomed not only by family, but by a circle of care that begins even before birth.
Purpose of the Ceremony
To honor the sacred threshold before birth.
To release fears and old patterns, making space for new life.
To call in blessings, strength, and ancestral support for both parents.
